This afternoon, at its headquarters, the Rifaa Foundation for Community and Human Development organized a panel discussion on sustainable development, the concept, goals, and applications in civil society organizations. . Dr. Muhammad Mustafa, Director of Projects at the Rifaa Foundation and head of the discussion group, explained in his paper the concepts of sustainable development, its dimensions, its social, economic and administrative fields, and its importance through optimal exploitation of local resources and preserving the share of future generations… stressing the positive effects of sustainable development in changing people’s concepts, inclinations and ideas in a way that serves societies. Women Empowerment Symposium
In its weekly discussion sessions, the Rifaa Foundation for Community and Human Development organized, on the afternoon of 03/29/2018 at its headquarters, a discussion panel entitled Empowering Women, Problems, Future Prospects, and the Role of Civil Society Organizations. In her paper, Professor Salwa Al-Qufaili discussed the concept of women’s empowerment and the ways and means that contribute to empowering women functionally and socially to reach decision-making positions. Al-Qufaili also pointed out the social, economic, and political obstacles that negatively affect women’s empowerment and limit their effective participation. Emphasizing the importance of the family in enhancing the role of women and empowering them in society. Dr. Abdul-Malik Omran, Chairman of the Rifaa Foundation, also pointed out the importance of raising societal awareness of the role of Yemeni women, based on their status in previous civilizations. Self-sufficiency seminar to empower women and families
The General Women’s Cultural Authority in Dhamar Governorate, in coordination with the Rifaa Foundation for Community and Human Development, held a symposium entitled Self-sufficiency to empower women and families, an economically secure life to build a strong, politically and economically independent nation.
At the symposium, two working papers and two main axes were presented. Symposium on widespread epidemics and newmethods of control

It was attended by a number of specialists, and after it began – the symposium with a speech by the President of the Foundation, Dr. Abdul Malik Omran, Dr. Majid Al-Jaradi, a researcher in the field of epidemiology, and an associate professor at the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, began the conversation about these epidemics and the ways they spread, and detailed that. As a continuation of the Rifaa Foundation for Community and Human Development in supporting its important programs that seek sustainable development in all its fields and stages, the Foundation ran a symposium and panel discussion on communications as a project on 4/26/2018, and the role of communications in the fields of marketing and promotion, through a scientific paper. Delivered by Dr. Majid Mabkhout, Assistant Professor at the College of Administrative Sciences, Dhamar University. The topics of the symposium were on communication concepts, its factors and procedures, and its role in the marketing process, that essential and effective role in which marketing is not productive and fruitful. The lecturer focused on the form of advertisements. There were comments. Most notable is the comment of Dr. Muhammad Mustafa, and the participation of the lecturers and lecturers, Ms. Ashwaq Awadah, Ms. Saba Al-Omari, Director of Al-Mithaq School, Mr. Irfaq Sharhan, Assistant Lecturer at Al-Alou Administrative College, Al-Bayda University, (knowing that the door for discussions and interventions was not opened due to time constraints) The symposium opened at 10:30 in the morning.
